I was over at Barerose earlier and seriously… June Dion from BareRose is one of the all time most fabulous, consistent and creative content creators of SecondLife, who just is underexposed on the blogs. Maybe because she’s such a constant factor, that people tend to focus more on the novelties, but anyway, I got fascinated all over again with the incredible variety of fashion, fantasy, historical and just plain outrageous outfits, all under 200L$ for multiple colors.

I found my lost joie de vivre somewhere. I think it was under the couch. Probably fell out of my pocket while I was laying on it for 8 weeks.
And since I found it, I thought I’d express my new found exuberance by putting on one of my newest outfits from WoE – the Cary Sweater dress. I was feeling very much like I could kick ass and take names, and so the only thing that would do to go with it were my Sky High Boots from Stiletto Moody.
I totally think those would hurt if I kicked you with them.
The jewelry is a magnificent offering from Kesseret Steeplechase for the Etheria Event – the Shelly necklace and I added the Rose earrings as well.
I have a softer side as well, you see. Can’t kick people in the ass ALL the time.
I saw someone wearing these Surf Co. shorts recently, and it reminded me that they were sitting somewhere in my inventory (which I have recently organized, so I could actually FIND them). I kept thinking I needed to find a way to wear them, and then Maitreya’s new releases last night gave me the perfect reason! This new summery top can either be dressed up or down, and I went with the later. The sculpted pieces are done exceptionally well, which is not really shocking, we all know Onyx is on her game there.
This is also the very first time I’ve worn BARE prim feeties! Funnnn! I thought this looked like an outfit I’d wear out on the beach, and so, barefoot seemed the way to go.

Today I got this very new release from Boudoir and I loved the slightly morbid touch at first sight. Yes, it’s a beautiful dress, great as all designs from Boudoir. But it’s not for the ordinary sunny day feeling. The perfect combination of laces with a touch of bones in the texture and the skulls surrounded by roses as asseccoires makes this dress something really different.
I went to look for the perfect skin, it should fit to the dress, so I was looking for something more special than the standard sunny day skin. While Dream Inc. has a lot of great skins for every occasion, with one of their newer releases, called Mika, comes a skin that was just the perfect match. Not quite gothic, just enough color to to make the skin lively, but still giving a very unearthly look.

I have been wanting to do something different with this dress for several weeks. I already did a look using the top piece, but I wanted to figure out a way to use the skirt, and I finally found the perfect pieces to create an interesting look with this skirt. Yay!

On the 21st of May, Tatanka Kaligawa – owner and designer of Mea Culpa – presented the first time his new creations on the runway. Mea Culpa is a very young label and basically goes for avantgarde and haute couture… the special things but also Tatanka tries to hold them realistic and wearable.
The runway that Opium builded was dreamy and unique. Colorful fantasy elements and the amazing color changing runway gave a wonderful frame for the lovely creations of Mea Culpa.
The models used particles to make the magic mystical feeling perfect. I will try to give you a little imagination of what it looked like, even if the pictures cannot carry the great feeling that you had being live at the show
