*Drumroll* It’s the anticipated debut of Project Themory!
The first theme is SPRING FLING.
Project Themeory is a weekly event where every Saturday at 12:00am SLT a group of designers will place an item corresponding to a common theme at the main entrance of their store for 75L$
It will remain there until 11:59pm SLT that Sunday. There will be brand new items and only marked down to 75L$ for those two days. Every week of the month they will be featured different designers, different themes and different items!

The wild children behind SecondLife’s Burning Life festivals are at it again! They’re formally throwing off the chill of winter with the Burning Life Spring Fling. When my friend Raven Haalan heard I was planning on getting something done today, he wasted no time in teleporting me away to a drum circle performance at the festival. You would think that, being from Texas, I would have a life-long love of cowboy boots, but you’d be wrong. For years, I fought against a western look, thinking that in doing so, I was fighting against the stereotype that all Texans wear Wranglers, ride horses, and own cattle or oil wells. The truth is, I grew up in a city of over a million people, and I’m no rodeo girl.
But, what can I say, I’m a sucker for trends. The cowgirl boot is in, and maybe I’m grown up enough (or immature enough) to accept and enjoy messing with peoples’ assumptions.

The long awaited new girl skins from Dutch Touch are finally out and no one is more happyer then me seeing Iki back at work, after a bumpy few months for Iki and Dutch Touch and those close to her will know what im talking about. I’m not sure if it is a theme, or the cozy-feeling time of year, or just a coincidence, but a LOT of this week’s 50L Friday stuff makes me think of raiding my grandma’s closet for treasures. That is a very good thing, in my humble opinion– take a look for yourself.
Tyranny Designs is offering up a cutie little dress inspired by “Aunt Gertrude”. I’m not sure my elderly relatives would ever be caught in such a short little thing… and I would rather not envision it. Nonetheless! It is a super cute little frock and there is a strong whiff of vintage about it, for sure. Kyoot’s 50L prize seems perfectly intended to make sure you don’t get a chill, even with tiny skirts– winter leggings in two adorable prints. I am wearing the flowers, and there is a more delicate print of vines in similar colors. ...

I am hoping to get out a piece this week on some awesome new boots that I found! Can’t wait. The designer is brilliant and does more than just boots. But hopefully this year I will be able to get back to doing more articles than just the 50L Friday stuff.
