The Asian shirt from yesterday’s look was not the only thing I picked up while I was shopping at Arai. This blue striped Simple Twas also among my purchases. I’m combining it with the red cuffs of Artilleri’s red Beatrix shirt to make it a bit more girly. The red Sendal scarf was a x-mas gift from the creators behind Maitreya and I don’t think it’s available in the shop, but I love it and I wear it quite often.
The Anjuna pants are from Zaara and the white Sheila thongs are from SLink. the grey “My VW Thing”sunglasses are from Surf Couture.

Most of us know the story of Rumpelstiltskin. You know…the story of the miller’s daughter who, under the threat of death, was locked in a tower for 3 days by the king because he was told she could spin straw into gold (she couldn’t). The dwarf Rumelstiltskin who could but drove a hard bargain (her first born child). The dwarf spun lots of gold and made the king and the miller’s daughter both very happy. But… let’s just say when the time came she didn’t want to honor her bargain and (thinking she never could) the dwarf agreed he would let her off the hook if she could guess his name (she did.) Lucky for us…several sl designers seem to be spinning straw into gold and we only have to give up a few lindens (we can keep our first-born and no guessing games involved.)

When I logged into SL today, I found a review box from Anoushka Feden. She owns a new store called *Kawaii* and gave me two things to review for you all.
These dresses are called Loose Summer dresses and they come in an assortment of different colors. I like the way they’re cut at the bust line and how they hang just above the knee. I threw in the new jewelry accessory from *Boom* just for a different look. Nothing too fancy. The dress is $75L each and $550L for a fat pack of eight.
The other is the Denim shorts and they have a few selection of colors, plus if you join the subscribe-o-matic you can get a free color of shorts. The shorts are $50L and the fatpack is $175L for four. To match up the shirts I got the surfer Tee from Tasty and the new release ...

It is definitely a lazy Sunday for me, and I felt like wearing something cute, casual, and comfy. More on the clothes in a minute, but I wanted to point out this awesome new sim, Morning Glory, which is really so pretty. I picked up this awesome new collarless denim vest at *ARGRACE* yesterday, and I just had to build an outfit around it. I wanted to pull together a classic, yet interesting look for today’s post, so I mixed a few casual and semi-dressy items together to create an almost vintage appeal. Cute and casual is definitely my style, and I think today’s look really suits me. And, in my book, nothing beats an adorable double-piggie hairstyle.
This adorable blouse is part of the Sway Sundress at Surf Co. I really loved the dress on its own, but I wanted to try something a little different and wear only the shirt and poof top attachment. I thought it would look best paired with some high-waisted pants, so I chose these awesome Leslie pants from Ingenue, which provided the exact look I wanted. Then I added these super cute canvas shoes from PIDIDDLE, which add a nice color splash and perfectly complement the look.

Pose Fair 2010 has really been such a great experience for me, and I love that it has opened my eyes to so many pose stores I had never visited. I have been flipping through folders upon folders of poses I’ve acquired from PF2010, and I had to stop on the folder from Miamai because they caught my attention like few others did. I know it has been a while, but I was desperate for something to force me into blogging. I saw that Kaz Nayar had some new bikinis he was releasing today, so it seemed the perfect excuse to push me. They are sexy and fun, how could I not share? The Katey-kinis (nice name btw

Check out these amazing colour change sneakers by 2REAL Okelli. They come with a fabulously easy to use HUD that allows you to change the colour of all the individual parts. You can select how you want the laces (tied, tucked or loose) and pick from 15 colours and 5 patterns to completely personalize your sneakers. The sculpts and texturing on these are just incredible, down to small scuffs on the shoes.

This week designer Emma Gilmour has some lovely new releases at Surf Co. The Sway sundress (shown in Garden) comes in 12 beautiful soft florals and features sculpted bodice and skirt. Worn here with the brass rings leather belt in brown, and Spring Fling wedges in Moss. The shoes come in 11 colour combinations, and the resize scripted belts come in 7.

Spring break is the time to let your hair down (specifically, AD’s baby locks which I can’t seem to change out of,) strip away the stress and the every day hustle and bustle…and just RELAX. One thing you have to give SL, the beaches are fantastic and no matter what side of the world you’re from, we all need a little down time every now and then. it’s finally here.. (well almost – on april 2nd it will!) and by it, i mean, pose fair 2010. i have to say… the poses are pretty amazing and some are just too good for you to not be inclined to get immediatemente. the fair contains poses from some great names. here’s a little taste of what you can expect at the fair. i’m pretty speechless at mime swag, which was a joint item created by del may and skin brand ugly duck. not only speechless from the actual skin and poses… but it’s absolutely available free at the fair. can you dig it? i certainly can. to kick off the preview are poses made by some of my personally favorite pose makers, but more to come in the next few days! as for the outfits, the hair is ...
