Chalice is as tall as can be and often struggles with non-modify pants.

I found three examples in my inventory to support my dilemma when it comes to skirts and sometimes dresses. I assume its because I am so tall that with non-mod pants that I can’t make shorter, the skirt/dress prims aren’t long enough to cover the pants. In most instances, I can’t lower the skirt enough to rectify the problem. I’m sure others are in the same boat so can I ask designers to consider making glitch pants modifiable so that your gorgeous outfits look their best and don’t have pants hanging below the hems? I have quite a few outfits I just can’t wear because of this which is a shame.

The dress is Niven called Kashmir Konnection and a real fav of mine. I think Scarlett Niven’s extreme talent must have sent her mad because she’s selling this dress for the meager sum of $10L. I mean that is insane but thank you Scarlett…I love this profusion of color and texture. Look at the quirky brooch that hangs over the chest…it’s gorgeous.

I am wearing my new favorite skin from Inaya called Kimshara. It has a dark hair base just perfect to attach Inaya’s Maya hair piece that hangs over one eye…it’s edgy I think.

Hello, goth dolls, Ghani released a new outfit today, and it’s a Keep and Gift, which means that it comes with enough pieces so that you can share it with a friend.  *And* it’s only L$100.  *And* it’s unisex, so if you know a guy with a goth bent, you can help a fella out.  Or guys, you can buy it and give the girly pieces to a female friend.  It comes in five colors; I’ll show you two.

Oh, Evie, how I love your gowns.  Perfect primwork, exquisite textures.  You make me feel like such a pretty fairy, usually.  But, oh, you have been seduced by the Dark Side, haven’t you?  heh heh.  And you know what?  I love you even more for it.  Welcome, my dear.  Yes, Evie has made a special edition of  Jupiter – definitely a darker Evie’s Closet than we normally see.   I just love the checkerboard motif that appears on the bodice and long sleeves.  Black, white, red.  Can you get a better goth color combo than that?

After this shoot I had to be cut out of my shorts. Did you feel the earth move?  As you can clearly see, nothing comes between me and my hot pants.

Yesterday I visited Bliss Couture, the amazing store of designer Amutey DeCuir. It’s a stunning space filled with clothing and accessories from the sublime to the divine. I dropped by to avail myself of a freebie and as usual, couldn’t leave without buying an item. Look at this gorgeous accessory called the Shahtoosh Shawl in the color Ruby. Hangs like a dream girls.

I teamed it with some more new buys namely the sexy Copper Orange Hot Pants from Alb Fashion and the Orange Plaid top from Barcode which also becomes a Baby Doll style top when the prim is attached. I purchased the Orange Skinny Belt some time ago from Elate and have been eager to give it an airing.  I LOVE skinny belts.

I do apologize that I can’t seem to take off my new Maitreya’s but they go with everything so why bother haha. No I just need a few more days living in these gorgeous shoes before I pry them off. I have been known to sleep in new shoes RL to wear them in but that does play havoc with the water bed.

I’ve died and gone to heaven. It was love at first sight and not even a dwindling bank balance could keep me away from a fat pack.

Onyx has done it AGAIN with the new release of Aequus. These newest stars in the Maitreya Gold range are simply stunning and worth every last cent of $7,900L for 15 color options. Stylish is the order of the day and like the Allure range, feature a zip at the heel. Unlike Allure, these are quite simple where the stunning prim foot get’s to shine. With a clever ankle wrap under the straps, the SL foot has NEVER, EVER been as beautiful.

Please excuse my, shall we say, minimalist styling for this post. I just didn’t want to take anything away from my second favorite shoe in SL. My first being Salience also from Maitreya Gold.

Ikaru Aichi of Violent Seduction is a *very* talented designer.  She makes amazing outfits chock full of gothic lolita loveliness.  Her recent release, Princess Ero made me squeal with delight more and more with each color I tried on.  But this is another case where a picture is worth a thousand words.  I’ll let Ms. Aichi’s designs speak for themselves.

Having dreads is one of my unfulfilled dreams but I know I will never follow it through. I just can’t go the next step and get them done…I’m a chicken with my hair you see. To me dreads evoke a grounded, earthy feel so I went for a look that was comfortable, casual and cotton perfect for browsing treasures at Les Puces in Paris.

Ok.  So, first of all, I’m not talking about a collaboration.  I’m just referring to the two main designers I’m combining in this post.  Adam n Eve + Nomine??  Really?  Yes, really.

Now, that’s what I call a pretty goth skin.  I think (and correct me if I’m wrong) Adam n Eve does the only goth skin with that subtle glow.  Just check out my abs!  This is one buff goth chick!  With each makeup you get a normal and a “bewbs” option, manicure on the glove layer, pedicure on the sock layer, and dark pubes on the panty layer.   What I think is particularly nice is that Sachi has matched the nailpolish to the lipstick of each makeup.  Pretty!

WOW I’ve had a blast this SL weekend. I’ve danced, laughed, explored new places and purchased new things. It was cold at home…a real Autumn day giving us a taste of what we’re in for so I wasn’t up for much in terms of being outdoorsy. I snuggled up, made coconut ‘n’ chocolate bread, cooked a yummy chicken dish and generally the family just chill-axed.

I downloaded the Rainbow Cool Viewer that I’m assured is compatible with LL TOS. I seriously cannot get on with V2. I don’t like the side bar information and I think the movement/camera controls are cumbersome. I seemed to be involuntarily logged off from the Emerald Viewer on a regular basis so thought I would give Rainbow a try. I love it. I have so many things to show you!  Good thing that I’m on a bit of a vacation from work, so I have more time.  So, I dropped by Nightshade the other day and had a nice visit with the owner/designer herself  - Belladonna Mureaux.  While I was there I started a Riotvend for this first outfit I’m showing you.  I called in the Lucky Chair Stalkers and we were off and running.  Belladonna set it down to L$45 – quite a deal!

Keishii Roo came out with this smexy, hot little number a few days ago and I’ve seen it blogged a few times already.  Justly so.  It is really hot.

As I mentioned previously, Ghani has a new release for us at +++Blue Blood+++ – Colette – a demure, yet sexy little outfit which comes with a plethora of wearing options.  I’ll show you just the two skirt options, but it also looks really cute without the skirts as the tops double as bodysuits.  First up is the darkgoth red.

As you can see, the darkgoth colors are subtle, especially if your graphics card is not top-notch.  Colette also comes in darkgoth purple, ocre, and black (which is a group only color unless you buy the fatpack).

Rotten Toe is back – hoorah – and with a new release (well, it was new almost a week ago).  Love Prison is one of those gypsy goth dresses that just call to me.

Love Prison comes in (left to right) Green Purple, Red, and Black.  For some reason, you must be a member of the Rotten Toe group (not the subscribo) to purchase the Green Purple and the Black ones.  I don’t remember the exact price, but it was under L$200 – Rotten Toe always has very reasonable prices.  Here’s a closeup of the black dress.

It features little hearts, randomly placed, and even the stockings and skirt netting have hearts.  Take a look.

While trying – this time successfully – to acquire the latest Lucky Bird prize at ~silentsparrow~ I met this sartorially resplendent gentleman by the name of Aceius Hax.  He gallantly acquiesced to my request to photograph him for my blog.  :)

Aceius is wearing the new release from Bare Rose – Phantomthief Overtrue.  It comes with the pants, coat with tails, shirt, cravate, a different cane, the hat, as well as awesome wings and a prim mustache  (not worn) – all for only L$160!  God bless June Dion!  Aceius crafted the remainder of his intriguing look from our very own SL library – the male goth avatar which includes the hair and shoes by Adam n Eve’s Sachi Vixen and Damen Gorilla.  His ethereal skin was won in a Gacha machine at Den-Dou.  Bravo, Mister Hax!

Hey!

It’s been a while, but I was busy with friends in RL! It was a funny week.

I am posting new and old items.

I must say I love those shoes, if you can’t have Miu Miu in RL then go for it at Magnifico Exclusive! hehehehe

Today I was in a mood to just feel pretty and filled with the freshness of spring.  (Sheesh, that sounds like a feminine hygiene commercial. lol)  But I was looking over my blog today and although I love my goth side with every ounce of my lapsed-Catholic soul, every now and then I just feel like wearing something a bit more mainstream.  I love this new offering from hair purveyor Tiny Bird.  I’m sure it’s been blogged extensively, but it totally deserves it.  I can see myself wearing this little linen dress in RL.  And it’s the first clothing release from Tiny Bird.  I can’t wait to see what she does next; what a great start!

Delicate is how i feel today… The soft colors reflects directly in my mood, even though i am not feeling calm (soft colors helps to making people calm, right?). I wanted everything to be simple but elegant, the jewellry helped a lot to give it’s final touch. Keishii Roo of Goth1co was sweet enough to drop some review copies on me recently.  Then RL intervened and it has taken me a bit longer to do this post than I had foreseen.  So, without further ado, first up is the Dark Wishes Corset Dress.  This dress is not for the faint of heart or the modest shrinking violet.  Oh no, this is a corset *dress* – meant to be worn in public. Of course, you can certainly just wear it during more private moments as well.
