SySy released this sweet outfit a few days ago but with the great weather we are having I have been outside a lot. We don’t get good summers all the time in Northern Ireland so I have to make the most of it when its here.
This comfy chair from MudHoney is called Grandma’s Chair. You get the books, small flower pot and stool all with it. It has 11 poses for sitting, these are my 2 favourite and the ones I have used more than any. I had forgot I had this until I was fixing up a new sky box . When I put this out in the corner it just seemed to belong. A comfy place to sit, a relaxing spot in SL when it can feel like everything is going nuts.

The shading on the body of this skin is beautiful. One thing that bugs be a lot on skins is shading on the back of the knees and the back of the hands – this skin has got it spot on. The stomach is toned but not over done.

Anyone who has read this blog for any amount of time knows that I am FROM Indianapolis and that as far as I’m concerned the only reason the month of May exists is so that cars can scream around the Speedway for my pleasure.
I dug into my closet and came out with this excellent Seaside Sweetie set from 5th and Oxford to wear today to celebrate my favorite racing event. You gotta wear black and white, there are rules – especially if you are going to any sort of GOOD party. Plus, you may not know this, but the good people of Indianapolis cannot SEE the race, which starts in 31 minutes AS I type this.
Nope – they are blacked out. Can’t watch until about 6pm or so tonight. Isn’t that lame?

They come in basic colours, animal print, flower & ribbon or brooch & ribbon. The detail is cute and looks great. The best part of the design in these is the sock layer. Many jeans come in a pant layer that fit well under boots but they never look right when wore as skinny jeans. These come with a sock layer to wear and that makes the jeans sit around the ankle just like RL skinny jeans do. I haven’t seen this with any other jeans around SL and never seen it on blogs either.
The store itself is cute thought it doesn’t have a lot of stuff , what they do have is cheap, well made and adorable.

New release from Exodi
I was looking for shorts like this a few days ago but just couldn’t find any I liked. As if reading my mind Ryker comes up with the goods in the form of these ‘Denim Frayed Lounge Shorts’ .They hug the hips yet don’t look like they are about to fall of (like some had been I seen). The detail around the pockets shows the care taken with these. Frayed at the hem enough for that lived in look. They come in 8 colours.
This beautiful Wrap Dress from Stellar is worth getting in a fatpack. As a solid colour is so sweet. Easy to dress up for any event you are going to but change to flats and its a cute summer dress to run around in. My main reason to say ‘just fatpack’ is the options to mix things up. For example, what about wearing the red skirt with the black top or the green waist band with the red dress. Like I say, options ! This dress also comes in layers to make it easier to wear tattoos, stockings etc…
These poses made me miss living by the coast. I have lived most of my life by the water and wish I was there again. I like things that make me explore SL more and this had me TPing all over to find some waves.

Have you ever seen something and thought WOW. Then thought, how can I wear this ? That’s how I feel with things Ruina Kessel makes. Now it isn’t that I don’t like them, I LOVE her designs but I feel a little nervous on how I can wear them. After all I am more a vintage girl at heart. Ruin dropped a few things on me to have fun with and see what I would do with them.

Prim nails are something I never really bothered with. Tried them once, hated it and never tried again. That was until I got these dropped on me from Page 3.

Y viendo el resultado en el conjunto estoy satisfecha de haberlo hecho así. Un vestido sexy, muy sexy. Puesto que si es picante por delante, lo es muchisimo más por detrás. Pero que en conjunto lejos de ser “malsonante” tiene hasta un punto elegante.

Excuse me for the sparse posts lately. I’ve been dealing with a lot of real life things and it’s stopping me from blogging properly (ie. College!) You can get these items and more from a story called Ticky Tacky, but there’s nothing tacky about these necklaces and earrings.

This is Madalyn from Felicia’s Fashions. The leggings comes with the outfit and helps create a new look to this cute dress. The ruffles of the skirt attach to two places but doesn’t stop you wearing a necklace with it. Attachment points can be a pain sometimes. The very best thing about any outfit I have ever had from this store is that it comes with shoes to match. Great for folk with little money to spend and helps when there are so many shades of pink and every other colour. It can be hard to match shoes with dresses this is a massive bonus when shopping there.
Last month I told you about a little event called Le Cirque De La Mode. Well there’s back at it again and from now until the 23rd of May you can get select pieces from your favorite designers. Stratosphere is a new release from Gracies. I love the black and white print, you can never go wrong with a classic. The sleeves and skirt flow beautiful when walking and move well when I tried dancing in it to. Dancing is the best way to find out how a dress really flows. For me, red is a great colour to put with this dress, but as its such a classic look you can put any colour you want and it still works.
Cattiva has some sexy lingerie sets just like this one above called peek-a-boo. It comes with white stocking as well, but I liked the black best. I love the trim of colour around the top of the stockings. The detail of the corset is to pretty to cover up and could be wore as a top.

It is only recently, I have noticed that my blogs have a strong narrative or editorial feel to them. I look at an outfit and if I can see a story in that dress or pair of shoes then I just run with it and where I end up no one, not even myself knows. If I can’t see the story then I have to find one… This is probably because of how my mind works, my imagination is often in overdrive. So when I see a new outfit or I open a folder of pieces sent by a designer I often ask myself…where’s the story?…what is the visual that I associate with that piece?

There is nothing that my Gidge clogs from A-Bomb do not go with. Ok that is an exaggeration BUT - I LOVE the patent version, and didn’t even know I liked GREEN patent until I color changed them to go with the Tee – but yes. I DO love green patent.

It’s the start of a new week! Which means nothing cause I do the same thing every week. Real life is fun, right? I tell you what is fun, new releases from I Love Olive, Reek, and Nayar. Also I picked up something Shane thinks is funny, but it’s the reason why I am finally on 2.0.
We’ll start off with the new release from I Love Olive called Jolene. This hair is adorable! I swear the creators of I Love Olive are getting better with every release they come out with. Jolene is a side sweep ponytail hair with a clip on the side of it. I kept clicking on the clip and it didn’t do anything so sadly you can’t change it’s colors. I like this hair. It’s sporty and flirty and goes well with the rest of this outfit.

I’m away for a couple days but thought I’d leave you with where some pictures I shot a few days ago. I was completely in love with this bag from Dark Mouse that I found while prowling around her store.
Since I had just received the tank top and jean shorts from Kawaii I decided it was high time to spend some alone time someplace beautiful!
I think everyone can use some relaxing time and this is gonna be my day.

I like the softness of the nose and maybe they’ll be more make ups for Amanda.

I’ve probably bounced around on this cute compact pose set of Cajsa twenty times in various lingerie and get-ups, but it wasn’t until I got the Victorian Ventilated Corset set from Reasonable Desires that I’d found what I really wanted to wear on it.
I mean, ribbed hose? White cotton bloomers? Ah….I’m ironically sexy!
As with everything I’ve ever gotten from Reasonable Desires this set comes with lots of layering options, so you can wear this or that or the other thing to create your own look.

There are days i love SL and there are days I completely hate LL. Last month I decided to venture out from my platform above my shop and buy a little cute parcel in my friends neighborhood. I took the next month or so finding the perfect little accessories for my house. I have to say it looked so cute, and just how i would dress my house up if i was single irl. I was super proud of my decorating skills and it took all my time, patience, and money lol. I havenever had a parcelor house to myself before.
