Phoenix Rising’s gorgeous Chanel inspired gown in white was my inspiration to finally go up and shoot in our cloud studio. 

The gown is such an inspired work of art – there is nothing practical about it, thus I LOVE IT, that I had to pose with some of my favorite SL sculpture – by artist Elros Tuominen.  I own quite a few pieces thanks to Cajsa and she probably owns them all – and has some particularly beautiful pieces out at the cloud studio. 

I have no skills or I would’ve made you a machinima to show you this sculpture moving – it’s amazing.

Phoenix Rising has been celebrating their customers who belong to ye old Subscribo and is offering gifts which may still be there – I’m not sure of the end date of the big celebration. I’m going to chalk this up to my post-partum brain cloud.

Yes, I have a brain cloud.

Baiastice is a brand to me in SL that expresses femininity, beauty and couture measured with a bit of magic that makes me feel like a living work of art.

The promise of silk against my skin in a brilliant palette of colors that are absolutely inspired.  For the next few posts I will be introducing you to my favorite pieces from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice’s Spring 2010 Collection.

I first found my love for Baiastice through the monthly freebies from the Baiastice group.  The freebies are quality and well made.. only a testament to what you will find at the store.  I think a well made freebie is like a business card and it makes you crave more of what the store has to offer.  I fell in love with the fall collection of 2009 and still wear many pieces as they are versatile and gorgeous.

In the pieces above I am wearing above I am wearing the Donnarama Casting Peach Make Up which will be further shown in a coming post.  My poses are from many different places.. the one wear my dress is catching on fire is from Del May.  I also used PDA and LAP.  My hair in the first two are from I Love Olive.  In the turquoise dress the hair was a lucky board item from W&Y.  My shoes are the Katherine shoes by Stiletto Moody.  My earrings are the Heirloom earings in nude from Phoenix Rising.

TODAY’s RAMBLINGS:
WOW! I can’t believe this is my 100th post! It’s been a long time coming and honestly I would’ve hit it months before if I hadn’t lagged on posting these last few weeks…but it doesn’t matter because here I am! This blog has been such a fun project for me, not only do I get to ramble, show off some of SL’s best products but it gave me a chance to meet and speak to so many incredible people!

I’ve started 2 other blogs before, but for some reason, they never fit as well as this has on me. My time has been limited lately and I played around with the idea of not blogging..but in the end, I just can’t let this baby go! I’ll still be around, sporadically perhaps, but I’ll still be around and I look forward to the next 100 posts!

Yayyyy! As far as my outfit goes, I had it in my head for my 100th something incredibly girly, frilly, colorful and just me. Yellow being my fave color and I’m so in love with this tutu-esq dress from So Many Styles. The leggings I picked up are by LG Concept and are available now at The Dressing Room. Shoes are the incredible Baby Ts from Pixel Mode and it’s not surprising how much I adore them since I practically lived in these shoes since they came out. The hair is from Exile, and not only is it completely adorable, but it features my favorite flower of all time.. DAISIES! All the sweet girly accessories ties it all in for me and I’m really diggin’ how I look and feel.

A friend called me a big yellow cupcake. I called him a fruit pie and kissed him on the forehead. Boys.. what do they know!?

It’s Friday night I feel like dancing!  Perfect occasion for this funky little one-shoulder dress.  To emphasize the funky feel, I added a pair of leggings, and then piled on necklaces, large hoops, cuffs and rings, and then finished off with these super accessorized Maitreya sandals.

It’s the day after a major holiday/family weekend, and I’m dragging, along with the majority of people around me.  Honestly, at this point, no amount of red bull could sustain my energy level beyond any point other than “survival.”  So, I drag my pretty butt out to shop.  Of course I do, what else do you do?  Hair tucked back on the side, a pretty pair of pumps, sexy jeans, throw a coat on…off you go!    
I love this coat from CE Cubic Effect, because it’s something I would own in RL in a heartbeat.  The jeans are from Phoenix Rising and have great detail to them.  I’m especially a huge fan of these pumps from (MB,) and they can be both dressed up and dressed down.  Doesn’t that just make them the perfect pair of shoes to own?  I think so!

I went away this past weekend and when I came back, Sylvia had bought the new Dr. Life skin. The more she wears it, the more I love it on her. It constantly reminds me of ancient Indian Hindu Art. Often, the women are depicted with a pale body and raven hair just like my Syl. She could easily seduce any God in that skin.

Meanwhile, I am wearing the PK Skin’s Wendy. I blame Prairie Kawashima for my deep love of all these skins. New Hair released at Bliesen & Maitai today  absolutely tickled my fancy, especially with this up-do held in place by artists brushes vs. chopsticks. I had to crawl out of my pixel bed and spend some time painting the landscape of our zen garden!

This new released from Phoenix Rising, “Impede” might be a bit overdressed for some oil painting on my balcony – but really, what IS the point of being a fashion blogger if I can’t overdress for all the wrong occasions?

Now, what else can I paint?
