Today the Etheria Fashion Show & Event opens. Here you will find collaborative works of 5 jewelers and their choice of clothing designer. For my store I have made a statement piece. Carlotta Jewelry Sets include a matching necklace, earrings, and ring. These are available in a diamond, onyx, or variety set. The necklace and ring have a 1 script resizer, plus a bright on/off effect. All scripts can be removed for future scripting limits. Although they use very low script time.
The designer I chose is Betty Doyle of Ingenue. I absolutely love her classy style. Betty created the Valdez gown which comes in a variety of colors. I am showing it off in black here with her Freynii shoes.

Chalice is as tall as can be and often struggles with non-modify pants.
I found three examples in my inventory to support my dilemma when it comes to skirts and sometimes dresses. I assume its because I am so tall that with non-mod pants that I can’t make shorter, the skirt/dress prims aren’t long enough to cover the pants. In most instances, I can’t lower the skirt enough to rectify the problem. I’m sure others are in the same boat so can I ask designers to consider making glitch pants modifiable so that your gorgeous outfits look their best and don’t have pants hanging below the hems? I have quite a few outfits I just can’t wear because of this which is a shame.

The dress is Niven called Kashmir Konnection and a real fav of mine. I think Scarlett Niven’s extreme talent must have sent her mad because she’s selling this dress for the meager sum of $10L. I mean that is insane but thank you Scarlett…I love this profusion of color and texture. Look at the quirky brooch that hangs over the chest…it’s gorgeous.
I am wearing my new favorite skin from Inaya called Kimshara. It has a dark hair base just perfect to attach Inaya’s Maya hair piece that hangs over one eye…it’s edgy I think.

I remember consulting with image experts for a new branding campaign for an organization several years ago. Our logo and materials were all red and white and the consultants wanted us to add blue. I wanted to avoid using exploitative associations with the flag to attract support. The consultants explained that red, white and blue ad campaign color really had nothing to do with the flag, but with trying to draw both genders. Women are drawn to red and men to blue and it’s likely that our membership was 65% women was due as much to our color choices as our program. Well, that’s not true, there is a gender gap on social and economic policy, but adding blue did result in increasing the percentage of men in the organization to around 40%. Long ago and far away I read a book called The Octopus by Frank Norris – a story of the exploitation of the wheat growers of California. It’s central truths, though, were as applicable to the farmers of the Midwest that I knew and their history that lead to the creation of the Grange and the Farmers Union – so I have a soft spot in my heart for that book, even though it is not very well written. One of the most memorable things about the book for me were the occasional bits of expository meanderings that began “The Wheat! There’s nothing like showing a little strategically placed skin to up the OOOH Factor in a dress. Did I say little? The Ohara dress from Elisea Carter takes the strategically placed concept to the ultimate level.
This is not a dress for shy people as there’s glimpses of skin from head to toe, but with fabric in all the necessary spot’ it’s arrestingly beautiful without getting you arrested.
The back of the dress is what initially drew my eye in the store. I love the two necklaces that come with it. They were however, much too large and since it was no mod and did not have a resize script. I was able to return them to the owner (this is a no copy/transferable dress) who sent me replacements with resize scripts.
