I’ve always been a great supporter of fellow bloggers for the creativity they portray in their editing skills as well as the outfits they compose, but being caught up in getting the correct picture quality and the right bag to match the perfect shoes many bloggers have forgotten their purpose in second life fashion; which is promotion for the talented designers. I for one am guilty of doing just that due to the lack of variety in second life clothing. When shopping I look for quality items and affordability but now that money is not a problem im having trouble finding the perfect quality item that is not seen on every avatar.

Being new it is difficult at times to establish myself as individual when I cant find stores that set the bar for things like opulence which is the reason why im a fan of stiletto moody and BOSL magazine for establishing status to those who are talented and hardworking. Establishing status takes promotion and there are very few interesting places to do that as there is a lack of trendy locations which all fashion lovers and bloggers can be recognized.

I feel this is vital to the second life fashion community because choosing the right person to promote products is very difficult. Second life fashion to me represents great creativity which comes with tremendous amounts of freedom. Being free to create what I find appealing I decided to compose a somewhat Arabian glam look to my outfit with a chic, modern essence and a harmonic balance I accomplished this through the detailing of the blouse and the sequins in my neutral mini skirt. To add emphasis to the outfit I paired it with embellished stiletto sandals creating a natural flow.

However much you spend on clothing, if you neglect your accessories you’ll always find your outfits a little lacking. I went all out for this look, showing off some of my inventory favourites which can always be used to glam up a styling.

The hat was a new purchase from Epoque’s Trilogy store. With it’s outrageously wide brim and neat silken band, who could resist, particularly when Glitterati are stocking some poses to work with it? There are 10 poses in the set which are all equally fabulous, tempting you to take more than a few pictures in your spangly new chapeau.

Whether you’re an A-list SLebrity or just emulating that diva style, the Butterfly shades from Gos are hot to trot whatever the season. These oversized sunnies are presumably named for the indent to the side of the frame, giving a very feminine wing-like shape. Lavishly scripted with texture change and colour update options for both lens and frame, as well as as tint opacity, the ability to flip the glasses up on top of your head at the flick of a button, and easy resize, you’ll be hard pressed to find more sophisticated or easily customisable eyewear on the market.

For jewellery I opted for this unusual necklace from Haus of Darcy. It’s dramatic in its style, especially when laid against lighter clothing, and for your money you get each strand to be worn separately or all together. This flexibility certainly gives you a lot of options and can be mixed and matched with various looks to great effect.

You can never have too many boots, so if you don’t already own this pair you definitely need to put them on your shopping list – but hurry as these are currently on sale at a 50% discount and the offer’s unlikely to last. Gos’s Burlesques have become something of a wardrobe staple for me, largely because of the superb shape and fit. They have a unique sizing system to ensure a perfect fit to your leg, and are sold with a special pose stand that you can ask your friend to use to edit your boots if you’re not comfortable to do so yourself. Featuring black leather accents to the toe, heel and back, the curved shape and clean textures will certainly call attention to your legs. With six satin and lace colours included, you’re sure to get plenty of wear.

Today is a good day. You want to know why? I’ll tell you why! For the past year and a half I’ve been switching from viewer to viewer because my snapshots would never save to my computer. It was driving me insane!! Finally I found out it was something I had installed on my computer that somehow goes against SL things and it needed to go. After I deleted it, I’ve been able to take snapshots to disks on any viewer, not just limited to one. This is a good thing for me.

Reek has released a new line of board shorts for girls (or men who like shorts to fall right into their balls. ) and mix and match them bikini tops and bottoms. The tops have a sculpted tie around the back and the shorts have a tie that goes in the front and the option to not have a tie. There is also a tie on either side of the bikini bottoms, but either I’m really skinny or the ties on the bottoms are too far from your hips. You can move it closer by editing each piece, but it’s kind of a pain. Other than that little obstacle, the shorts and bikinis are amazing and I’m impressed with the seams on the shorts.

I got Shane to come and take pictures and her and I are going to show you some of the mix match things you can do with these bathing suits. Aw look, Shane and I are two for two for blogging together. I know we won’t do it tomorrow sadly.

Greetings! It’s been a while since Shane and I got together to show off an outfit together. Timezones are our biggest enemy and it keeps us apart more than we care to admit. It sucks, but when you’re six hours apart from the one you want to be with you have to make due with the time given to you. Today we thought we’d get together and blog two outfits.

There are a lot of new things out on the grid. I don’t think Shane and I have had a chance to shop together, but maybe after I’m done with this, I can convince her to go on a shopping spree with me. Today’s blog shows new things from Tiny Bird, Urbanity, Maitreya, Action, and Insignia.

Wheathering Mode of Insignia was kind of enough to drop me off a review pack of his new corsets. There are a lot of colors and different prints. It also comes on all layers. There were so many colors to choose from and instead of bombarding you with pictures, I picked out my favorites to show off.

I was thrilled when Autumn Hykova dropped off two of her latest hair creations for me to try out. I’ve always loved Tiny Bird‘s hair, but I don’t think I have the head for it, if that makes any sense! Two Weeks is a casual style with a short braid toward the front and wispy hairs flying about. I love that part about it. The picture below is another new release from Tiny Bird called Milk Thistle. Milk Thistle is a similar style to Two weeks, but instead the braid is longer and it hangs in the back. I have no idea how hair is made, but I always admire the work put in with wispy hair and braids. In retrospect I should’ve worn a lighter color to show off her work, but now you’re just going to have to get a demo and check it out yourself!

I don’t want to say Katey Coppola was the first to create jewelery poses, but I can’t say I remember seeing any poses. I looked at the notices and the owner is working very hard to make his skins be the best they possibly can be. I haven’t got the chance to look around it completely, but I like what I see so far.

I’m not sure how I used to find time to check fashion blogs, last year, but I did. At one point, I was crazy obsessed with them, and one of the very first things I would do before going about my day, was to check what was on sale. Thank God I had Clear to support me, because I’ve no fucking idea how I ever would’ve lasted in this world without her – for more than money reasons – but she managed to stand by and hand me money whenever I saw something I wanted.

Nothing much has changed as far as my time goes; then why, Internet, do I find myself unable to do the same things as I did last year? I think I have issues with both attention and routine, which strays from my astrological roots a bit. (But who buys into those things anyway, I’ve allegedly been coming into money 5 times now, and it’s never happened.) I feel as though I became disillusioned with blogging; straying from how I originally started to do it and into fashion territory, which to be honest, I don’t know so much about – I still wear skinnies.

Inspiration hit me this week in the form of Tegan and Sara’s new LP, full of Alligator remixes, as well as Kaki King’s newest album, JUNIOR. And not only did this week’s releases from Action inspire me to Piece for the very first time in a long time, I wore a dress for good. And I love it. Surprising, isn’t it? But it’s cute, and I love the primwork. Not to mention, Johnn Balzibo might be one of my favourite jewelry makers on SL (right beside HOD) and he passed us some of his necklaces he made, which I might blog about singularly very soon. I can’t wait for his store, and one of us will most definitely link you to it as soon as possible!

Day Three and I’m here with a lot of content involving new skins from L.Fauna and more sneak peaks of what’s in store for the Pose Fair 2010. We’re just two days away from the big event and I have to tell you, I’m very excited. There’s not just POSES, there are props, AOS, furniture, and you’ll get to see some of it in this post.

L.Fauna is also releasing something amazing on the first of April, new skins! No this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke. There will be five new make ups that will sell for $805L. There is an optional freckle and cleavage, and cleavage freckle version. The eyebrows and lips are tintable and very easy to do. I’m showing off two make ups; Robin & Starling in Tan 2 and Pale 2 tones. I love the eyemake up and how the lips are designed. I remember I wore L.Fauna for a good couple of weeks. This means that this is a good skin.

As one one of the official bloggers for the Pose Fair 2010, it is my duty to show off some of the designers new things you can purchase there. Today I’m going to feature Ana_Mations and aDORKable.

First off with Ana_Mations is a Photography chaise. In the notecard this is what it says about this item.

There are 9 female, and 9 male poses.. and there will be new pose packs built to drop inside and expand the collection including couples and friends pose collections. There are 4 base textures built into the chaise including one that is tintable for any color combination. There will be texture packs built to drop inside also for photography sets. The object is fully mod, and copyable for utmost convience and modability.

I think this will look great in anyone’s house and if you’re into taking pictures, you should get this. I played with the cushions a bit, but as far as coloring it, I didn’t get a chance to do it as much as I’d like. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures to give you an idea of the poses you can do and the look of it. Ana_Mations will also have a new AO and it’s kind of fidgety and spastic. That’s a good thing. I love AOs that move.

The next I have to show off are the fantastic frames by aDORKable! This is just one of the many props you’ll be able to get from aDORKable. Due to me working so much and with school, I am just showing off one. Hopefully later tomorrow I’ll be able to open everything. The frames are for you to pose in. I like the lil tushie frames because I get to show off the adorable ruffles in the back of the new swimsuits from Surf.Co. The frames are great, but I wish I could resize them so I could hold them properly. My hand is sticking through! Also, the modeling poses are from aDORKable as well. It’s the new DIVA set. I’m just giving all of you a little taste of what’s in store! And believe me, there’s more.

About a week or so ago Elle Kirshner of Pulling Strings dropped a copy of her lastest build. This is called “Window To Your Soul” and it’s a window prop with five built in poses. The window is mod and you can change it to whatever you’d like. Since I’m slow at that, I left it as is. I do apologize for the inner window wall. It wouldn’t rez for me, no matter what. I’ll pretend I modded it to a grey color. Also there are new skins from a place called Bella Di Notte. I’m wearing the Lillie skin in light. Lillie comes in dark brows and light brows. I love the softness of the face. The nose isn’t overly shadowy, and the corners of the lips are love for me. The brows aren’t overly plucked. Definitely a skin worth trying.

The dress is a new item from Surf Co. We all know my love for Surf Co. I wish I could wear this dress in real life. I love the sculpties on this and the overall detail put in the shoes. Surf Co. is definitely one of my favorite stores. I could stay in this dress all day. I figured I’ll load you up with new content to make up for the fact my graphics card gave out with this window. I’m also showing off the poses in the window as well. They’ll be credits after the cut! Plus a sneak peak look at Amacci’s Pose Set 7 which will be available at the Pose Fair!! Hope you like.

Coming up pretty soon will be the Pose Fair 2010. It starts on April 2nd, 2010 and it ends on April 16th. It’s about time for this fair! Let’s face it, poses make our SL world go around. Without them, we’d stand crazy. It takes a lot of hard effort to make good solid poses. I know, Shane and I tried the other month and it took us forever. Today I got bombed with some of the new poses from Luxe Helendale. You can check out her blog here and her store, Do Re Mi pretty soon. She is one of the 100 participants (there’s probably more) at the Pose Fair 2010. She dropped a couple of packs of her latest poses, but I’m going to showcase two of them. If you’re a fan of my skin, I got it from Buttons by Leilany Edenflower for 50L. There are a lot of tones and options for this skin and again it only costs 50L. You may want to check out Leilany Edenflower’s profile and go to her picks to see other stores. The shows are a new release from Urbanity called Simple Flats. These are the flats to have! Why? Because you can change it to any color you like. It comes with a simple hud. You can use it to change the color of the shoes, buckle, sole, heel, etc. The possibilities are endless. Once you buy these flats you really don’t need anymore flats. The rest of the credits for outfits and such can be found underneath this cut.

Welcome to my Wonderland! To show off the second side of Morantique’s skybox i chose a high fashion outfit with a theatrical flare.  The skirt is from *COCO*’s latest group gift.  its perfectly sculpted and decorated with lace ruffles what more could i dream for?  When i saw the Coco skirt i knew it would look fab with my Vintage SMS Jacket (edited short).  If you have never stepped foot into So Many Styles mainstore; you should go now! SMS is getting to be one of my personal favorite brands on the grid.  Every piece is beautifully textured and fits my avi wonderfully with minimal resizing.   Since my jacket and skirt are so high in detail; i felt the need to go ultra sheer with my top; the NEW Frilly sheer tops from SD Wears is the perfect compliment piece to my outfit; its like they were all made for each other

What makes my outfit? Accessories of course! My hair is a stumblebum exclusive from Clawtooth.  To be honest the first time i went to Clawtooth was last week and i snagged this cute hair! the texture is nicely done but my favorite part about it is the Birds nest on top! It came with Easter eggs and a cute bird; but i bought an add on in the back of the store.  I choose the Black Raven birds to go with my dark wonderland theme today.  I have been wearing this hair ever since i purchased it a week ago. ( i prob have bird sh*t all in my hair now. D:)  Lately i have had a fetish for bird accessories either buying them or making them.  Did you notice my pin on the jacket? its a very detailed Bird pin.  i found it in the Pile of gifts i received from the Red Packet hunt.  Im so happy the designer sent this to me b/c i would have totally missed out.  Thank you <3  My ring is my Zaara treasure.  Its a cluster of pearls in a dome shape. It sorta reminds me of tiny Bird eggs on my ring; its absolutely darling and i suggest you buy the Transfer fatpack version and share with your friends.  haha when im done featuring all mine; i might share with some of my girls.   and at last my handbag; it is such a Vintage style bag with great detail.  Who else could have made this fabulous bag than Donna Flora!!? I snagged it at the Accessory fair.  If you have been living under a rock the past weeks you should go quick to the fair before all the magic is melted away and the dust clears.

Morantique did a fabulous job on the Alice in Wonderland skybox.  Earlier in the week i showed you the spring/fantasy side.  Today my setting wasmore theatrical and dark.  Everything shown in the background comes in the full version and much more!  It is a truly magical skybox! if you love magic, dark, or just a Alice fan like me get this Skybox for your home or a fabulous party!

Spring Break is here! Here is my choice for the perfect  spring break outfit!   I have combined the sexy tank from *BOOM* with Emjay’s Newest release the Patchwork Shorts! These shorts are perfect to pair with spring and summer tops and bikinis! They are nice and lowcut without showing my ass crack! (total pet peeve of mine; I hate it!) I love having simple shorts that are versitle to wear when i go out to different shops i try to be low on prims so i rezz faster! This would be my ideal shopping outfit too! My look is simple but stunning! Perfect for the beach or hanging out by the pool.  The hair corsage is absolutely Lovely!! My good friend atomicsparkle of AtomicBambi sent this over to me; i love the detail and the texture/resize script lets you create tons of different looks.  I dont know why i haven’t owned this until now! Its perfect!

Hello welcome to my tea party! I am your hostess redsoledrea .  Come take a look around my fabulous new skybox by Morantique.  It is exquisite in detail and has a Alice in Wonderland vibe to it. 
It comes with everything you could image to decorate your space with.  Honestly all the knick knacks it comes with it is too much to describe and my blog would turn into a book lol! What sort of Hostess would i be without the proper wardrobe changes?  Today i have 2 looks that are perfect for Spring!  I must admit my first time to step foot into Doppelganger’s store was this past friday for FLF.  I think they had a pair of shorts, but don’t quote me on that lol. Of course i picked up the FLF item, but my attention was quickly caught when i glanced the racks of the high quality boutique by two spring dresses.  I am not sure if these dresses are old or new.  They are new to me lol!  The First dress on the left is hands down my favorite dress for spring (so far…) I love love love the patchwork design! the colors the dress comes in are great! i bought them all of course!  My second dress is a Total Win! I have been looking for a great maxi dress and the Messina Dress is just the item for me! I love the low cut top to show off my Tuli Cleavage! (I know you looked)! I must say i have been stirring away from Flexy dresses the last few months wearing and creating nothing but sculpted outfits; but these two well made dresses may have pulled me over to the other side!

 * My Jewels *  The most important part of my outfit is the well textured masterpiece i like to call my Zaara treasures! in my opinion Zaara makes the most Gorgeous accessories on the grid.  I have not visited her shop in a while *shame* until i received a plurk on my timeline about her newest additions FABULOUS Rings! Statement Rings! I am wearing one today the Raga ring.  I wish i had this in RL! I would be such a happy girl.  The beautiful Flower sculpt with a big Pearl right in the middle makes my knees shake! If you visit the Zaara Accessory Fair showcase you can get the FATPACKS with Transfer versions! Presents for all your friends <3 or your fav blogger! The Rings brought me to the shop, but i didn’t stop there! I think i bought every beautiful bold item in the shop my friend had to pull me out by my hair, Kicking & Screaming! The necklace i chose to wear today makes my outfit have a chic bohemian vibe and i love it! Add on Stacked Bangles and i do not need clothes!

Now to save the Best for Last! My Love! My most prized SL possession yet! My gorgeous face!  Tuli is Genius!  I could not wait for the launch of the new skinline! My top 2 Favorite makeups are shown Above  (Number 4 & 6 in Tone 4). Today i will show you the top 3 reasons why i fell in love with the Tuli Update group.   1.  If you noticed in my first picture the Cute Kawaii style chair and table that is a Tuli group gift (still available)! 2. From Left is the NEWEST Tuli Group Gift! a beautiful spring makeup that comes in all skintones <3 Thank you Tuli! and 3.  This Group Gift was send A LONG TIME AGO! You can not get it anymore, so im just being mean i know.  but i have to show you the reason why i first started stalking Tuli and her fabulous skinlines! This was a December group gift; that is when i decided to pay the 250L memberfee not too bad i say for all these great gifts! You will definitely see me in Tuli its so natural and looks great on my avi shape!  Not to mention how great it looks with Fri.day hair textures! Friday released new Hair this weekend and i am Loving Anna in moody!

When I checked my SL one day and saw that one of the designers of Glam Affair, aida Ewing, dropped me the latest releases I think I kind of squeaked. You should have heard me. Anyway, there is a new release called Xenia. It’s a lingerie bra and pantie set that comes with fishnet stockings. This lingerie also has studs on it. Dangerous studs that if this was real life it would SHREAD your clothes. This underwear is definitely best if you’re into walking around in world in just underwear or to show to your special loved ones. It comes also in black, and pink, but the rest of the colors I’m showing off here. It screams sexy and I’m glad in SL I have the body to be able to walk around with just my underwear on. The hair was a 75L gift from Posh. I don’t think it’s being offered at that price anymore.

There are so many fairs and other events going on right now that I’ve been rushing around the grid and spending money like it’s going out of fashion. This evening I rested my weary feet by the Accessory Fair catwalk, and of course the jewellery was the focus of my personal styling for the event.

Most of my jewellery is from alaMood; the necklace, earrings and ring are crafted in gold and set with diamonds and rubies. The necklace is particularly unusual, a solid torc looping around the back of the neck, lying open to the front, ends termed with gemstones. The earrings too are interesting, running from a hook fastening to two strung diamonds, with pendant rings and more stones to the front.

The dress is composed of a bodice from a set by Celestial Studios and a skirt from R.icielli. The skirt is available in a number of colours and prints and is really worth a look: the high waist is constructed from a prim sitting below the belt, and it works really nicely. I had to size it up a tiny bit, but didn’t have any trouble keeping the fitting beneath the belt, which sits nice and snug to the waist.

Hair came from Exile, the ‘Cleo’ style which probably has an Egyptian inspiration, although it works wonderfully as an occasional updo. The chunky beading set throughout is colour change, so you can easily match to your outfits for a little customisation.

The skin is Pearl Glow by Laqroki. If you haven’t been over recently, I can recommend a visit – not only does this skin look utterly gorgeous, but it’s also a bit of a bargain. You purchase a fatpack of ten makeups rather than singles, but for what you pay it works out at just a few hundred Lindens per makeup. That’s a bargain in my book. There’s a mixture of day and evening looks included, with soft, brushed features and a gorgeous sheen all over the body. The nails are finished with a French manicure which serves beautifully in the absence of any applied manicure, very handy when you don’t have the layers to spare. Try out the demos in store.

For a dramatic finish, I opted for lashes from Calla. I really love Tigerlily Koi’s impact lashes. There are various types to choose from and all of them call attention, even from a distance: these feather lashes are well separated across the openings with splayed curls running from the outer edges. A little different, working very well with the silvered ’shadow on the skin.

In my spare time I’ve also been popping around the accessory fair, where the store *Sissi* put out these lovely glasses on a necklace!  That’s totally me in RL!  I’m always sliding my glasses off, hooking them on my jewelry, and then asking everyone “Where are my glasses?!”  in an excited panic.

I also saw in another blog this shirt from *blacklisted* and I had to own it.  I liked it because it kind of made me laugh at myself and all of the other bloggers out there who at times take things sooo seriously!   Enough with the married people cheating on second life!  Down with Slags and their drama!  lmao…

Finally, I just wanted to call attention to my pumps.  I featured them in another post that included Phoenix Rising, but I don’t feel like under my dress they got adequately showcased.  NX makes gorgeous pumps that have just enough sparkle to make them one of your favorite pairs.  I like the versatility of these because they offer the silvery shade of white.

This is the new skin from Chaisuki called Brianna. I did a skin review on Chaisuki before and now they have a new face. What do you think about it? I like the eye make up and to me the freckles are softer this time around. There’s a brown, light, and red brow. There’s also a hair base and if you don’t want the cleavage look you’ll have to wear either a shirt or an underwear layer. Underneath the cut are some more pictures of the make up. There are tons of options here. This is just touching on a fraction of it.
