Fashion No-No: HORIZONTAL STRIPES! What was I thinking? Can I really pull it off? Will fashion bloggers everywhere do a spit take and get me permabanned for all their ruined laptops?

I double dog dare you all to choose what you consider the most binding fashion rules … and break them all, but make it look steaming hot! I chose horizontal stripes, but you might combine plaid and paisley, wear bling, or patent leather shoes made of non-sculpted prims. Go crazy!

I figured cute girls can get away with anything, but some color at the eyes and beautiful jewelry should pull your eyes away from stripes, stripes, stripes.

Twisted & Spoiled’s Jeans are part of series of posts I’m doing featuring some of my favorite jeans.  I acquired these over the summer, and love them to death. I bought the fat-pack which included 12 colors, from true blue seen in my composite shot, to pink! Included are two types of jean prims, baggy and boot cut, nicely sculpted they give it a nice finish. The shading, and hems/seams are done well, and well worth adding to your inventory.

Something a little different than my normal look this time.

My dear friend Jungeun Vella from JE*Republic recently released a new skin line, Shua.  She was kind to send me a review copy over the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised.  The facial features of Shua are very different from the skins I usually wear, very cute and innocent.  There are ten different make ups available, shown below.  Each make up pack comes with a variety of options, including freckles and hair base options, as well as four different eyebrow shapes.  The freckles version is the most appealing to me with a slightly sunburnt cheeks and nose.  The body detail is pretty realistic although some may find the body shading a bit too harsh, especially on the back. Also, note there are some minor visible seamlines.  Nonetheless, I believe these skins are perfect for those seeking a cute avie.  Pick up some demos and try them!!!

Waiting just inside the gates to the flight deck. Duty calls me to fly with her imperial majesty’s guard on a diplomatic mission. Her ship is still being fueled.

Yes, I fly light. I wear body armor, and my electronic personal assistant. In the military, everything else I need is provided. Meals and rack included.

The Bare Rose “Orphion” is one of two offerings that they have presented at Rezzable’s “2010: The Future is Now” exhibition. This outfit is intended to be the men’s version. Often men’s armors require radical refitting if you have substantial breasts, but this armor did not need anything more than basic resizing. Be careful making your adjustments: like most Bare Rose outfits it is “No Copy/Transfer”, so if you destroy it you will have to buy another.

“Please don’t call me Barbie”, she said with discernable acid in her voice. I nodded and smiled at her. The smile was a nervous reaction. Thing is, she gives me the creeps. Always perfectly coiffed, a little too fond of pink. I think she must sleep in lipstick.

Don’t laugh! What do you really know about her? She always has a new model of pink sports car, even though she can never hold down a steady job. One year she’s a Malibu Surfer, Stewardess, Policewoman, Astronaut, Race Car Driver, Paleontologist, Doctor, Gymnast, Fashion Model, … on and on and on. Was she fired? Did she quit? Are these jobs just for cover?

Who is she really? A drug dealer? A spy? A mystery shopper? A dishonest debutante with a rich daddy?

Damn. I knew it.

Happens to me all the time. 

The first time I saw this hair, I took a demo and waited, hoping to find a look that would work with it. It’s not that the hair’s expensive, but there are only a few colour choices and it’s not the kind of style that will go with everything. When I fashioned an outfit that suited both colour and style, I wasted no time in making my purchase and am extremely happy with the results.
