Sometimes, when I want to get lost in thought or just think about everything that has happened to me I go up on the rooftops and think. It’s quieter there and you get a new perspective on the entire world. Although I can’t see stars anymore there is a dizzying array of neon lights and panoramic views of everything below. It tells me that we are all part of something bigger and something greater and we should strive to be noble and be our best regardless of the situation we find ourselves in.

Finally finished up with this shape that I’ve been actually working on ever since I picked up the LAQ Emmett skin. The shape stands roughly 6’3″ in sl and that is a result of me sizing the head to match up with the hair and the hairbase used on the skin so if you use the suggested skin and hair you shouldn’t have to mod either. After the head size was fixed everything else started working it out in it’s own unique way.
Also, I finished up info cards in all my demos available which will tell you which skin the shapes were specifically tailored for. My shapes are specifically designed for certain skins. Sometimes it’s a struggle to come up with new ideas, and I’ll be the first to admit that sometimes I do fall in a trap of repeating myself. I do like certain things more than others. I started out trying to do a summer outfit today and wound up at the office banging away at the keyboard. I really had to dig down for that extra inspiration.
So after wrenching my hands together and biting some nails I decided to go with what I was wearing. Good thing my office is at home

Almost a week ago at this point I picked up the new LAQ Emmett skin and I have since really fallen in love with it. So here’s a full look at what the [peach] skin tone has to offer.
As you can see from above the facial hair is absolutely great on these skins. All these hair options come in one package so you can swap whenever you feel like it. The hair is also from LAQ and is designed to fit with the bald base on the skin. However, if you are not using the LAQ shape they sell with this be prepared to edit the hair and it has no resizing scripts. All that aside, this is both an excellent hair and skin which I would recommend to anyone. Now, I present my butt

Fresh from the Armidi half price sale at the Warehouse and a new skin and hair as well.
I was told a few nights ago about a new skin release from LAQ that had a unique hair design paired up to go with of course new hair they were offering. When I found them I tried them on with my current face. I quickly returned home and made my adjustments and as I did, it became more and more apparent that the faces on these skins were of excellent quality. Then I became worried about the shape I had edited and if the hair would actually fit onto my headshape and line up with the hair on the skin. Not suprisingly the answer was no. Red Queen released a new skin as a group gift and I became terribly interested in it.
It reminded me of my early days in sl when I used to sit around and listen to audio dramas. I’m a big fan of audio dramas in general. NOT books on cd, audio dramas. Fully voice acted serials in praticular. So after searching I found the Village of Nyght sim that does indeed play classic audio dramas. Audio dramas are a very big part of americana and considering the skin I wanted to go for quite a departure of what I usually post. I had picked up a few items from Toxic Orange a long time ago and a friend recommended I go take another peek there. So here you go. I hope you enjoy

As many of you know I am the shape designer behind Homme Fait. Finally, I have new releases. I know it’s been some time, but I can honestly say I hope it was worth the wait. Ok, so I’ve been on a mission for the past few days to put together an outfit with a bow tie. I know that a lot of you will say that it shouldn’t be that hard and I’d totally agree with you. However, I would like to point out there is a SEVERE lack of quality button up closed collar shirts in SL and there is also a SEVERE lack of quality bow ties in sl. After looking through several stores and coming up empty, I remembered doing an advertisement over a year ago for Adjunct who at the time had bow ties. Now it stands to reason if you make bow ties you’d probably either make shirts to go with them or you’d be able to refer someone to a place that did indeed have those type of shirts. I supposed the name is kind of ironic being my second post back from hiatus. I had taken to the grid with the challenge of finding something new and different. At least something I hadn’t seen before. Yes baby, I used the dreaded misleading search function. Hey everybody. I’ve been gone away from blogging for way to long. I’ve had real life issues and they aren’t over, but they are definately starting to look better. Since my return I’ve been pretty frustrated with the lack of clothing options for men available in sl. There are some good sl designers for male clothing, but we still have no where near the options that women do and we should realize that and try to help the male designers in sl meet the needs of the customers. Friendly notecards of praise or logical suggestions are usually always appreciated.
