there’s always something really charming and satisfying about knowing a small, non-mainstream boutique that makes amazing stuff. it feels special, oh so lovely, and just makes me happy inside when i wear it. the dress is the new cirrus cloud dress by one of my favorite little boutiques, equus, by designer and charming lady kitten soup. aside from it being so feminine and gorgeous, the dress is animated – a swirling cloud movement on the bottom portion of the dress which makes you feel like you’re wearing some sort of art… and feeling like you’re wearing art is hard to come by at most times. its delicate construction really struck me, and i new i had to make a look with it. i created the rest of the look with some other ...

i have fallen in love with the power and magic of accessorizing again. from one of my favorite paper couture rings to collared neckties to an absolutely amazing oversized men’s shoulder bag to a pair of fierce power spike shoulders to ornate bib necklaces accompanied by a funky tiger purse. it’s all about the love of accessories again and how to mix and match with unexpecting combinations. and this is why i love fashion and styling – every look is a new journey filled with new discoveries and revelations on combining components to an outfit.

so both vega and i instantly fell in love with zaara’s new mahari dress and wanted to kick off the 1st of march with a soft and fresh spring look. the dress is amazingly beautiful and the flow of the skirt makes you want to stare and dance in it. the fading of the shades on the skirt and the multiple layer options for the top makes this dress an absolute must have. while i was standing there gawking at the apricot shade, vega fell in love with the pink. the dresses are both paired with easy to wear denim and some pretty floral headpieces. frolicing through our lovely egyptian-esque home with our saffron lelutka pumps, we are one happy pair! <3 u vegita
