We’re still on what you call an unofficial hiatus break. There are a lot of things going on. For example I’m back in school at the moment (Accounting major, ugh) and I’m trying to get adjusted to these nine week blocks and Shane has lost all will to update. Just kidding, maybe she’ll get it back in the upcoming days. But today, today is a weird day. I’ve been out of the loop of SL for a few weeks now, but when I went through my folders I saw an assortment of things from stores so I’m going to try to blog it on my free time and force Shane to dress up with me.

I was dropped a couple of pairs of the new ankle and tight knee boots from Mentine <3. I love the tight knee boots. The boots also come with with alpha layer for 2.0 if you're not a fan of wearing invisible prims. You can also change the Sole, HeelMetal, Heel Parts, Chain,Zipper,Toe by a touch of a menu.

This is the latest face from Exodi and it’s called Dael. Dael should be released around June 1st so you’ll have one more week to sit in anticipation for these darling skins. The face looks softer to me and I love the body on this (though I didn’t take any pictures of it, sigh). Each skin will come with a light brow and a dark brow, freckles for those options as well as cleavage.
I also dig the fact that there are painted on eyelashes because I stopped wearing eyelashes a while ago. The nostrils aren’t too dark and I love the gloss on the lips. I can’t take pictures of the nipples due to TOS reasons on word perfect, but I like the fact that they’re slightly bigger than normal nipples on skin. Unfortunately for me I got my dates wrong and the Surf Up poses for !Avant were supposed to be for Saturday and not Sunday. I’m so sorry about the confusion, but I still think these poses are awesome and worth blogging. It’s the start of a new week! Which means nothing cause I do the same thing every week. Real life is fun, right? I tell you what is fun, new releases from I Love Olive, Reek, and Nayar. Also I picked up something Shane thinks is funny, but it’s the reason why I am finally on 2.0.
We’ll start off with the new release from I Love Olive called Jolene. This hair is adorable! I swear the creators of I Love Olive are getting better with every release they come out with. Jolene is a side sweep ponytail hair with a clip on the side of it. I kept clicking on the clip and it didn’t do anything so sadly you can’t change it’s colors. I like this hair. It’s sporty and flirty and goes well with the rest of this outfit.

Amanda is the latest face from Adam and Eve. It comes in four tones with three different make ups. There’s also a face tattoo layer for freckles. Included in each skin are eyebrow shaper, hair, boobs, and hair & boobs skin version. There’s also pubic hair and a manicure and pedicure layer. I like the softness of the nose and maybe they’ll be more make ups for Amanda.

Christensia Parkin of Hyper Culture dropped a review package off of her two new dresses from the Black Lace Collection. They’re called Signora and Signora 2 respectively. The only difference in the two is the collar.
I matched it up with the new release from SLink called Mikaela, and they’re under 700L. They’re so easy to customize. They’re worth every penny.

Danny Bourne of reBourne has done it again. Recently he’s going to release a new skybox prefab to please all of us with. The new skybox he’s working on is called Toronto Heights and even though the value of the prefab is $9500L, there is a lot of content put into it to keep it at 365 prims. With the help of Bunny Blindside (her blog is here), I was able to have high res photos of this home. There are so many textures and items that it was really hard to get it to rez on my computer! I’m going to show you a couple of photos to get you excited about this build and for you to see just why it’s sold at $9500L. There’s also a demo of it in world I’ll link you to.

When I logged into SL today, I found a review box from Anoushka Feden. She owns a new store called *Kawaii* and gave me two things to review for you all.
These dresses are called Loose Summer dresses and they come in an assortment of different colors. I like the way they’re cut at the bust line and how they hang just above the knee. I threw in the new jewelry accessory from *Boom* just for a different look. Nothing too fancy. The dress is $75L each and $550L for a fat pack of eight.
The other is the Denim shorts and they have a few selection of colors, plus if you join the subscribe-o-matic you can get a free color of shorts. The shorts are $50L and the fatpack is $175L for four. To match up the shirts I got the surfer Tee from Tasty and the new release ...

Today is a good day. You want to know why? I’ll tell you why! For the past year and a half I’ve been switching from viewer to viewer because my snapshots would never save to my computer. It was driving me insane!! Finally I found out it was something I had installed on my computer that somehow goes against SL things and it needed to go. After I deleted it, I’ve been able to take snapshots to disks on any viewer, not just limited to one. This is a good thing for me.

Reek Beachwear!

Reek has released a new line of board shorts for girls (or men who like shorts to fall right into their balls. 
) and mix and match them bikini tops and bottoms. The tops have a sculpted tie around the back and the shorts have a tie that goes in the front and the option to not have a tie. There is also a tie on either side of the bikini bottoms, but either I’m really skinny or the ties on the bottoms are too far from your hips. You can move it closer by editing each piece, but it’s kind of a pain. Other than that little obstacle, the shorts and bikinis are amazing and I’m impressed with the seams on the shorts.

Greetings! It’s been a while since Shane and I got together to show off an outfit together. Timezones are our biggest enemy and it keeps us apart more than we care to admit. It sucks, but when you’re six hours apart from the one you want to be with you have to make due with the time given to you. Today we thought we’d get together and blog two outfits.

Summer is almost here which means it’s time for beach weather. Kaz Nayar of Nayar is getting us prepared with his new release called Katey-Kini. Katey-Kini comes on a jacket, shirt, underwear, undershirt, and pants layer and includes a bow to fit on the back.
AtomicSparkle Skytower of Atomic Bambi is my new favorite skin maker. There I said it! Ok, she’s one of them haha. She keeps progressing and she keeps getting better at her skins.
