Join us in a parade on Sunday, 20th May, starting from the bandshell in Bay City - Harwich and travelling down Route 66 and Park Place to the Bay City Fairgrounds at North Channel!

Sunday, May 20th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) SLT
Meet at the bandshell in Bay City - Harwich, with additional room in Bay City - Dennis, Bay City - Tisbury, and Bay City - Edgartown. The parade will begin promptly at 12:30 pm. SLT.

What do you want?
Festive outfits, unique avatars, costumes, floats, Macy's parade-style balloons, marching bands, stilt walkers, dancers, kids on bikes, dancers, drill teams -- you name it! Come and represent your own special part of Second Life!

How could I make a float?
Best bet is to make 'em as a wearable attachment, not a vehicle. Due to some of the difficulties with 'em last year, we would prefer to avoid vehicles as much as possible. Also, they'll make your exierience better, too!

The initial event opening rush at Culture Shock (Handy dandy info/maps/slurls at the link) is all gone and so are the script gates, so excuses for not heading over for all the shopping glee are out the window. So of course I took the chance to play with some more of the pretties that can be found there, I do so enjoy pulling things together in a way that pleases me. The Malena dress from PurpleMoon has a deliciously fae feel methinks, so I took the opportunity to play up my own kind of fae look.

I teamed up with my favorite thigh high boots from SLink, some fabulous tribal makeup from La Petite Morte and feather earrings from Amorous in place of traditional fae wings. Naturally I had to mix my makeup up, adding some scrumptious eyeshadows from Mock. Now, what does one do once they’re all dolled up like this? Well naturally they go wandering SL to look at statues of naked men! That’s the Fae influence, I swear it.
