Pinocchio is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the 1883 children’s novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, an Italian writer, and has since appeared in many adaptations of that story and others. Carved by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, he was created as a wooden puppet, but dreamed of becoming a real boy. He has also been used as a character who is prone to telling lies and fabricating stories for various reasons. (Wikipedia)

“Pinocchio nella rete” is a project through which unite the schools, publics and privates, italians and foreign, from kindergarten to university, involving colleagues in service and retired, parents, students, citizens who wish to participate in the Project, collaborating, researching, experimenting, utilize and disseminate Web 2.0 tools, software and online free services, open source, copyleft, cross-platform and not (education law and respect of accessibility).
Designed and promoted by the italian teacher Riccardo Rivarola, it had a clamorous success, in Second Life too.
