Berry's new meme she has out and also because I like to bitch about things (just kidding, kinda) Below are some of my SL Pet Peeves over the years.
[Disclaimer: Please do not internalize this if you have had any communications with myself over the years. I'm usually a VERY patient person and it takes a WHOLE LOT to really get me upset. One or two things here and there I totally understand, this is just from a build up over the years]With that said, my 5 SL Pet Peeves....1.
Non-responsiveness: (See #3 Below for added explanation to this) This is really not a HUGE pet peeve because its more "its not you its me" kinda thing. My time is limited when I log into SL and I pretty much value time over lindens. I appreciate when I get 'some kind of response' when I IM someone, even if it's an auto-response; at least I know they're busy. I think what kills me more is when I'm in a conversation with someone esp. business related and then dead silence. nothing. I get RL comes first.. it does for me at least. And again, I have total patience with this. It just saddens me when I take time out to focus on a conversation but have to wait because something trumped me in importance to them (at least that's the mind games that goes on in my head lol). I COULD be shopping or making something else or something important to me! I would much rather someone tell me hey, something came up, can we carry this conversation another time? I TOTALLY get that! I do it ALL the time! In fact I PREFER back and forth email conversations because I'm usually doing a million things and can focus on your email when time does make itself available. I am a MALE, it's scientifically proven we can't mufti-task and use both sides of our brains! lol

Profiles: Okay, I have no room to bitch about this. I'm guilty of updating mine and even more guilty at bothering to look at others. I suck I know. I often even forget about profiles and just bother people before looking. lol Sue me! But WHEN I do look at a profile and see "Don't do this, don't say this, don't even think about this, blah blah blah with "I don't like drama" (btw that's a dead give away that you LOVE drama lol) It really turns me off and I pretty much will forget even asking whatever question or comment I was going to say. I know sometimes designers and bloggers who have made a name for themselves have to set some rules because they just don't have the time, but there's a tactful way to say it and an ass-hat way to say it.

Expect Immediate Attention: Funny how #1 above bitches about non-responsiveness and I then include something opposite lol I'm complex! I think this goes back to the limited time I have in SL. If I have a blog or pose I REALLY want to get out or work on it takes all I have to focus on it because again; I'm a male, I can't multitask lol. If I get a question or IM I'll usually try to answer when I'm done or before I log off. I get the sadz when others internalize that I don't like them if I don't respond RIGHT AWAY! lol Because that is totally not the case.

SL Marketplace: I get to bitch about this because even though it's not having to do with the SL viewer experience, it IS SL related! I see SO much potential in the SL Marketplace if there were improvements made. I just don't understand with this being such an opportunity for Linden Labs to increase sales for everyone (consumer and designer) if they would just focus on a few basic improvements. i.e. mobile app, better search features, improve how the inventory is managed (I have a ton of things I want to delete but it SUCKS having to delete one....thing....at....a....time), improve how favorites are managed just to name a few.

Wearing too Much Prims at Events: I know...I KNOW! I'll get disagreements with this, esp from event organizers lol. But I don't care...I'm vain, I admit it! And all kidding aside, I really do agree, it sucks when people come loaded with prim and make it laggy for everyone else, but I HATE going to a populated place where you'll meet people you may know and look like a NEWBIE! lol I have to look my best when I go out! lol So, to fix the problem I just made an invisible outfit and go as such so no one will see me but my group tag. =P Don't judge me!
