Yesterday was a strange day. I couldn’t for the life of me shake out the issues I was having and sadly, some things will always be flawed about me. I’ll never care what people think of me, as long as my karma is in good standing and I know I’m doing the right thing. The last year, I’ve changed a lot. I’ve been taught to let go of a lot of hatred,fear, aggression, grudges, and to focus on the positive things, all while attempting to better myself. Even now it’s still a struggle to say on the right path and when I’m faced with certain situations, I always end up lashing out somehow, as discrete as it may be. Only difference now vs back then is now I can just let it go and push it out of my mind, not linger on negative things and people. I can only hope that I will be able to stay on that path, and not stray back to the way I once was.

At least, I think I’m doing better. Whether anyone else sees the difference from last year, to now, is on them, I guess.

Is it awful of me to say that I’m swooning over my own avatar? How shallow am I? Haha. I hate to say it but I loveeee this look. From the hair, to the dress, to the shoes. I love it alllll. This whole look makes me feel so sexy that I don’t think I’ll take it off for the next day or so! I can’t help myself, I love it! *_*!

With that being said, Essences released the skin applier for the Slink Avatar Enhancement mesh feet – and the hand applier is on its way as well! I loveee it. It’s soo seamless and perfect, and with the shoe add on, you can’t even tell it’s all add ons! Makes me all flaily and happy! I highly suggest you go pick up the applier hud for the feet like asap! I’ll be showing off the hands applier soon enough too, don’t you worry!

I finally did it! After nearly two hours of tweaking, moving,  editing,  re-shooting, etc, I finally found a light setting I can use in SL that is both flattering and effective! I’ve always said that I wanted to do a blog where the shots were raw, and although my graphics aren’t the best, I don’t want to edit the photos too much because it’ll take away from the actual look of the overall appearance – straight from in world! With that being said, YAY for a new light setting that loves me, my graphics and my avatar. Swoon. Hopefully you like the pictures now!

Now, as I was looking back on old blog posts, I came across a post from last year about Lupus awareness, and I remembered that today is wear purple for Lupus! Now, I know the subject is a sensitive one, but this disease has been one that I’ve held dear to my heart for a very long time, and effected someone I cared a lot for – still does to this day. It made me think of her, and though things are different now and times have changed, I still support the awareness of this disease. For more information about it, please visit the official Lupus website to read up on this disease and the dire need for research support!

I don’t know how many of you guys are following me on facebook but if you do, you’ll know that I am obsessed with The Voice! I’ve never seen any season prior to this one, and I’m ashamed to admit that before I am in love with this show! The talent is…ridiculous. I have a top three – all girls, and one of them being the lovely Sarah Simmons, who, I personally think may end up winning the whole show. I’ve been listening to her songs for the last hour or so and she makes me want to start writing again, her voice is so emotional! Imagine singing like that?! Damn.
