Today I feel like a child of nature, all floaty and peaceful. I can actually feel the breeze on my face and the water gently splashing around my ankles.

This adorable belted, tube-dress from TokiD was my inspiration for the day. I styled it for an imaginary day running errands in the city.

Spring has finally sprung in my very Northern parts of the world and I’m ecstatic about it. The winter was so long and cold I almost forgot about the sun for a while there. So today my look is all about the joy of the warmth and the sun. My main inspiration was the new Truth hair which I love so very much; these rounded bangs are my absolute favourite right now and won’t be coming off my mesh head for while. For the rest I basically went with skin, more skin and then a tiny pair of shorts and a fierce bra top.

I’m a radical deleter of inventory. I can’t stand my Number (of items) to go higher than 35 000. I delete everything old and anything that I’ve not used in the last few months. I’m a stone cold bitch like that. But, and there was always going to be a “but”, some items even I can’t bring myself to erase. Today when my deleting machine headed relentlessly into my Dress folder, mowing down gowns, dresses and frocks like a terminator, I came to a screeching halt at this Nolita dress from Maitreya. I could NOT get rid of it. Instead I put it on and marvelled at how beautifully its still keeping up with todays’s newer garments. This was the first mesh dress that I went crazy about and it showed me the promise of mesh back then. So consider this a fond look back into our SL fashion history.

Today I’m in love with this beauty from Hucci; the Zapala Dress. You have to love this rare combination of dreamy romance with kick-ass edge in one dress. I know I do.

Not a lot has been happening over here in my corner of Second Life for a while, as some of you may have noticed. I seem to have run dry when it comes to creating for now. Not to worry, this always happens from time to time and I’ll just enjoy some time off the creating grind.
With all this free time I’ve been styling a little bit lately and posting my pics on Flickr (see sidebar), but then I thought I might as well blog them!
Today’s inspiration came from this awesome and über-cool dress from Leverocci. I love when SL designers make slightly out-there outfits that could only happen in SL. I mean, after all, we do inhabit a fantasy world where anything is possible. So when someone stretches the boundaries yet still makes it this chic I can only take my hat off in deep respect.
