As today is officially World Goth Day, here's another look inspired by items from the World Goth Fair. Firstly this stunning Morrow dress from Evie's Closet;



I had to include this close-up to show you how pretty this World Goth Fair skin from Jalwa is! I have accentuated it with eye-shadow from songbird (again), lips from essences and a cute lil mole from Mock cosmetics. Eyes are by Beautiful Freak and are available from their stall at World Goth fair now.

It's that time of year again when we honour and celebrate the life and uniqueness of Sophie Lancaster, ahead of World Goth Day. The tragic young girl who was beaten to death by ignorant thugs on August 27th 2007 for being a goth. The event is running from May 15th-31st, with proceeds going towards the Sophie Lancaster Foundation- set up by her parents in her memory to promote awareness and acceptance of the goth subculture and to, ultimately, have crimes of this nature treated as hate crimes. They have had some success in this past year, check out the Sophie website here for more info. Many of the best goth and alternative designers in SL have got behind this event, as usual, many donating 100% of the sales of some of their items to the cause.




The skin I am wearing is the adorable Ophelia skin from La Petite Morte, I love the tone and the amazing eyebrows were perfect for this look! I have accentuated it with the gorgeous red glitter Gothique eyeshadow from songbird. The dress is Death Rocker Betty Crockers' WGF item (as you can tell I am a BIG fan of this girls' work- she is a genius!!), I loved the spider-web detailing of this dress, so kinda ran with that look with the jewellery I chose. I am wearing the Black Widow necklace from Draconic Kiss, and an oldie (but a goodie) ring from Schadenfreude. At this point, I thought I was done, then I saw the gorgeous piercing from ellabella, which just fit perfectly to complete this look!

and I'm stuck doing nights, ugh. Ah well here's a cute look I've been wanting to show you for a couple of days.



This look is made up form a couple of things released at the 'for aeva//heartsick fundraiser' that is happening right now til the 14th May (for more info on the event, read here).  The skin I'm wearing is a new release from aeva that is currently available at the event for the bargain price of L$100!! This adorable skin is available in the usual 9 tones, ranging form the palest - T0 - which I'm wearing here, to the darkest tone - T8. And for this wonderfully low price, each skin comes with a shape, teeth layers and skin appliers! The adorable dress I'm wearing is an event EXCLUSIVE by sakide, who is participating in the event along with about 30 other designers, and will NOT be available after the even,t so go, go, go if you want to add this cute lil number to your closet!! Just an fyi- Kinu Makayo (owner of Sakide) is very generously donating 60% of her profits from this event to the for aeva//heartsick fund!!

Onto the rest. The ear's I'm wearing were made by A&A's Mabinogion brand, for the We <3 RP event. They are unrigged mesh and therefore resizeable! Oh wow, its that time of the month again when some of my favourite designers pu out their creepy, macabre goodies for Horror Haute. And this month's round is *full* of win!! I almsot didn't know where to start, but I had to start somewhere. So let's begin...

First off is this sexy lil cropped top from immateria - that comes attached to the creepy-cute face-mask you see I am also wearing. This top and mask ensemble is called 'Monster Within', which I think is perfectly apt for my avatar, as she is quite often the SL representation of the Monster Within my RL self.

For some reason, this look screamed cyber-goth to me, lol, so here I am wearing with it some of my favourite recent releases from Corvus and Sakide, as well as another item from this month's Horror Haute- the undies and suspenders from Draconic Kiss.
