I wasn’t ready to take the kitty tights off yet so I had to come up with another look for them. I pretty much already had the idea, I just had to head back to FaMeshed and grab a few more items I had on my WANT list.
This trip I picked up one of the Structured Blazers from The Secret Store. This jacket is great and superbly made. I put the blazer over the Basic Tank from House of Fox which I also picked up at FaMeshed.

Just a simple outfit that came together after getting the floral dress from The Secret Store on FLF. I felt the ensemble needed tights which was a good thing because I had been dying to use these cute kitty tights from Jim.

I finally made it to FaMeshed and it is another event this month simply packed with great new items. It’s FaMeshed’s one year anniversary and the creators have out done themselves. At the moment I have only bought a few things. I am trying to pace myself and not go overboard. I tend to spend too much and not really think about it and then half the time not wear what I buy. So I am trying to be a little more conservative with my money.
The first thing I bought was this denim jacket from Emery. I have been longing for a mesh denim jacket just like this for ages now.
I am pretty much a sucker for cute and kind of frilly skirts, so after the jacket I made a bee-line to Tee*fy’s booth. They have lovely light summer dresses out and also skirts. I got one of the skirts this time, but only because I am having a horrible time choosing which color of the dress to get.

Collaber88 has opened for this month and it is absolutely full of wonderful goodies! There are so many things I want and after a full day of trying to get in, once I was finally there I was too overwhelmed by everything I wanted I only bought one thing. For now at least, I will go back to get more later.

The one thing i did get right off was the Just Frills top from Aux. I had been seeing the work in progress pictures and I was already dying for this top before it came out. It’s so cute and perfect for summer!

Also a bit more silliness from me today. I went searching for a nice beach to take my picture and after a kind person tossed me an LM to a cute beach I totally forget the main idea and basically crop everything but water out of the picture. *facepalm* there had been cute scenery in the back, but I am kind of ditzy today I guess. Maybe I need a nap so I can better remember my plans just five minutes after making them.

Today’s outfit reminded me how happy I am to have mesh on the grid! I love over-sized tops and while there were some nice ones made in sculpties a while back, they always had only little part that wouldn’t connect right or move with the body perfectly. With mesh the problems are solved and now we can get great looking and fitting over-sized tops in SL!
I was also very happy to see the bermuda jean shorts from Tres Blah at last month’s C88. I have been craving some mesh shorts in this style for ages now so I could upgrade my system layer ones from years ago. The system layer ones are still great and I might break them out every now and then, but I much rather mesh when I can have it.

The weather where I am has turned unseasonably warm and it has me looking forward to Summer. It would usually be another month or possibly two till we hit the temperatures we are getting right now. I love this time of year because I can shed a few layers of clothes and as usual I have dressed in SL to reflect my RL conditions.
Mon Tissu has this really cute dress that I think is the quintessential Spring or Summer dress. I have been wearing it non stop since it came out. It comes in a bunch of colors and different pattern options. I just might have to go get another one just so I am not always in the same exact look.
I paired it with a cute wedge from Ingenue and a simple up do bun hair. I always feel best with summer clothes that are simple and east. It could also be that where I am, once Summer really hits it can get into the high 90′s and the thought of al the added fuss of clothing makes me feel too hot even just looking at it on the screen.

Just a simple casual outfit today, but I figured even if I am going for casual no reason to not be cute! Easily pulled off with these adorable heart jeans I picked up a few Fifty Linden Fridays ago from Elate.
I paired it with a lovely new top from Decoy. (Well new as in a month ago. As per my running theme I am a little late with this post.) I’ll be going back for the other colors of this top for sure. It’s so cute and well made. It also have a version in each color with a pattern on it, so many uses for it and perfect for Spring and Summer.

I should change the name of my blog to The Great Procrastinator or something like that. Here is another outfit that I have been sitting on for nearly a money now putting off blogging because of laziness. I am horrible yes I know.
The shorts and top are from Fashionable Dead from this last round of C88. I bought then right away when it opened up because they were so cute! I love these shorts and hope they turn up in the main shop later because I totally forgot to go back for a few other colors of them. Same goes with the shirt. Such a nice half tucked shirt that will work with so many outfits.
I am also hoping that these shoes from Tres Blah also from this last round of C88 find their way into the main shop. I had wanted to get them all! They are so cute and just up my style alley. I really wish Tres Blah would do fat pack options for her C88 items. Most the time everything she puts out there I would love all the colors of and would fat pack.

This month the theme at Genre is Gothic. It’s been ages since I dressed more on the darker side and I was inspired to change up my bright pinks for a while. The main inspiration for the change was the beautiful pale skins from La Petite Morte out at Genre. I am wearing the darker of the two shades offered and the even paler still tone is just as beautiful.

For the rest of my outfit I went inventory diving. Yay! Saving money is fun!
Oh wait… except my hair. *sigh* didn’t save as much money as I thought.
I am so totally in love with this hair style and the fun dye colors it comes in. There are two different packs of the fun dip dyes and I think I might have to go back for the other pack. It was really hard to choose which one when i was shopping the first time around.
It’s called Baby from Taketomi which I had never really heard of although I think I saw something that they are re-branded from another hair store.
I have never understood the constant re-branding some stores do, especially when they are still around and producing. I totally get if you leave SL for a while then come back and want to do something new. I’m not saying that’s what this store did, just a little extra Dizzy Thoughts for ya.
