Taurus, finally! If you haven’t guessed, I am a Taurus, born the last day of April. Many will tell you that we Taurean’s are very much like our symbolic bull, stubborn to the bone. That can be true, and I do have my stubborn side, as Gabby so lovingly tells me is “so cute when you are all stubborn”! At least she finds it a charming trait, right?
Being a Taurus, I am extremely loyal, protective and unwavering in my dedication to those I hold dear to my heart. You mess with them you mess with me. I will throw myself in front of a bullet for my other half, and face off with the wolves with claws and fangs if need be to protect any that I hold dear to my heart. The flipside of that is my unwavering love, intense and dedicated to the core can turn to hate if you wrong me, hurt me or harm me. For as much as we do all things with great passion, even the negative emotions are fulfilled with as much zealous dedication.
We are a self indulgent sign, we are afterall reigned by Venus, the Goddess of love, beauty and pleasure. That indulgence brings about a love for all things comfort and decadent True, I rather slumber on silk and sip champagne while eating Belgian chocolates in a candlelit room, erotic music playing and a sensual hum ruling the night with mon amour Gabby.
True to form, I indeed have a great need for stability. When things are rocky, I am a mess, and seek that the ground beneath my feet is solid and sure to that I can return to a safe plateau to indulge in beauty, art, music and love.
We Taurus are all about love and sensuality. Great lovers, indeed for we strive to please and create an atmosphere of fantasy where temptation and again that indulgence reign. I am a romantic, to the very core of me, to the point that I am sappy and sentimental, and oh so very “charmingly alluring” as my other half calls me. All the beauty of love is embraced and my intensity can encompass those around me, drawing them into that world of pleasure and harmony. Gabby will tell you that it is “easy to get lost for hours” with me and with her in kind for she is Aries, just as passionate, yet grounded, keeping me from floating away on my whimsies.
Like my fellow Taureans, I am a creative soul, the arts have always been my passion. From the opera to ballet and art museums, my childhood was immersed in the arts. A creative soul, I express myself with words and visuals that conjure and relay my emotions, for they are the root of what rules me. Again, it is only a matter of time before those around me express that I am “very intense”.
Many believe that an Aries and Taurus couple have the proverbial locking of the horns, and surely we have had our moments of not seeing eye to eye but we never stay that way for long, a few minutes of heated debate always turns into a passionate compromise that has us going “what were we talking about again?”
